When applying for a learner’s driver’s license for the first time, applicants must provide:
- The relevant application form (TOM 7B).
- Two recent passport pictures.
- Identity Card.
- Certificate of having passed the learner’s permit theory test.
- In case the applicant already has a driver’s license or a learner’s driver’s license, then the current license must be presented.
- Applicants who wish to issue a driver’s license for vehicles registered in the category C, C+Ε, D, D+Ε, the subcategory C1, C1+Ε, D1, D1+Ε or the special categories Ζ, Η, Θ, must provide a Health Certificate.
Category C : Valid for people who turned 21 years old. Mandatory Lessons:0
Category C+E: Valid for people who turned 21 years old. Mandatory Lessons:0
Category D: Valid for people who turned 24 years old. Mandatory Lessons:0
Category D+E: Valid for people who turned 24 years old. Mandatory Lessons:0
- In order to apply for Categories C1, C, D1, D, you need to have a driver’s license for Category B vehicles.
- In order to apply for Categories C1+E, C+E, D1+E, D+E, you need to have a driver’s license for Categories C1, C, D1, D vehicles respectively.
- A driver’s license which is valid for Categories C1+Ε, C+Ε, D1+Ε, D+Ε is also valid for driving Category Β+Ε vehicles.
- A driver’s license which is valid for Category C+Ε, is also valid for driving Category D+Ε vehicles, provided that the holder has a Category D driver’s license.
- A driver’s license which is valid for Categories C+Ε or D+Ε, is also valid for Categories C1+Ε or D1+Ε.
- A driver’s license which is valid for Category C, is also valid for categories Β,Η, Θ, Ζ and Στ.
- A driver’s license which is valid for Category D1, is also valid for categories Β and special category Στ.
